## Why it exists

Patricia is named after a real person, not a mascot. Ricardo, one of the
founders, ran agencies for ten years and helped one of them grow from 10
people to over 90. The part that nearly ended it was never the client work. It
was everything around it: recruiting, paperwork, finance, checking the
accounts, the admin that has nothing to do with the client and everything to do
with the day.

So he asked his mother, Patricia, to run the back office. She said yes. She did
exactly what she promised, usually before anyone asked, and brought what the
rest of the team did not have: decades of judgment, and the instinct to fix a
thing before it became a problem. The team did not really run without her.

Most agencies have someone like her. The ones that do not wish they did. That
is what the product is trying to be, and why the company line is "everybody
deserves a Patricia".
