Patricia vs Claude Code
Claude Code is for one developer. Patricia is for the whole agency.
Claude Code is a coding agent for one developer in the terminal. Patricia is the coworker the whole agency shares, and she plugs into Claude Code through the Patricia MCP, so the memory, the connections and the approvals come with her.

This is not a replacement pitch. Claude Code is excellent for developers, and Patricia plugs into it and brings the rest of the agency along.
New to Patricia?
One AI coworker, inside your Slack.
Patricia does the marketing, sales, ops, and finance work your team never gets to, in the tools you already use. She remembers your company. Every email, post or message she drafts waits for your yes, and by default so does every change and every spend.
Claude Code and Patricia, together
Keep Claude Code for your developers. Add the coworker the rest of the agency shares.
Claude Code gives a developer
A fast coding agent in the terminal and IDE.
Patricia hands you
The recurring client work, finished and waiting for your yes.
One coworker anyone can mention in a client channel, or add to Claude Code through the Patricia MCP, across 1,000+ tools with every seat included.
The detail
The differences that decide it.
The real point
Better together, not either or.
Patricia is not here to replace Claude Code. She is an MCP server, so a developer adds her to Claude Code with one link and a sign-in, and Claude Code gains the agency's shared memory, its connected tools, and its approval and audit log in one step. Your developers keep the agent they love and stop wiring up context by hand.
Claude Code on its own is a superb coding agent for one developer. It reads your repo, runs commands, writes and refactors code, and takes MCP servers. It does not hold the agency's shared memory or run the client work for the team, because that was never its job.
Access for the whole team
No Claude plan for every teammate.
The account managers who do not live in a terminal still get the AI-native way of working. They use Patricia in Slack, with every connection, memory, and approval ready from the start, and every seat is included. No per-person Claude plan, no command line.
Claude Code needs a Claude plan or API billing for each developer, and it lives in the terminal and IDE. That is a fine fit for engineers, and a wall for the rest of the agency who just want the client work moving.
Onboard the team fast
One Claude Code account, plus Patricia, and the stack is there.
Onboard a technical teammate by creating a Claude Code account and adding the Patricia MCP, and every connection is there with access scoped per person from the first prompt. Everyone else uses Patricia in Slack, with no command line. Either way the tools and context are ready on day one.
Standing up Claude Code for each developer means installing the CLI, authenticating, and wiring MCP servers and keys per person. That is by design for technical owners. It is friction when you want a whole agency productive quickly.
Shared memory
One brain the agency shares.
Patricia holds one shared brain for the agency across your tools, so the answer one teammate gets is grounded in what the agency already knows. It is one brain rather than a separate vault per client, and we say so plainly, with what is per client being the channel, the connections, and access scoped per person.
Claude Code keeps context inside a session on one machine. It is powerful for the developer running it, and it does not carry across the agency or persist as shared company memory.
Scoped access
Access you can point at real client accounts.
An agency holds the logins to a dozen clients' ad and analytics accounts, so where those credentials live matters. Patricia connects through managed, permissioned connections, so there are no raw API keys for your team to store or rotate, access is scoped per person, every action is logged, and she is SOC 2 Type II compliant, GDPR ready and hosted in the United States.
With Claude Code, the scoping is yours to manage: your API keys, your MCP server permissions, per developer. That gives a technical owner full control, and it puts the scoping and the key handling on you, for every client you add.
Shared, versioned skills
Build a skill once, share it with the team.
Patricia stores skills centrally, shares them across the agency, and tracks versions, so a good workflow one person builds becomes something everyone can run. Improve it once and the whole team gets the update.
Claude Code keeps commands and files locally for the developer running it. Great for personal workflows, and not a shared, versioned library the whole agency draws from.
Depth where you bill
A catalog entry is not a connector.
Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Canva are not brokered through a middleman: Patricia holds her own app and her own connector for each. On the ad platforms, that is why she can pull a real report instead of a thin list of fields; she reads, flags and proposes, and by default she makes a change only after a person approves it. Those reports are why the weekly client report comes out finished rather than as a pile of fields you still have to assemble.
Claude Code reaches an ad platform only through an MCP server you write, host, authenticate, and keep working as the APIs move, for every client you add. Some teams will happily build it. The trade is a server to own rather than a report that arrives finished.
Model choice
No vendor lock-in. The best model for each job.
Patricia routes each task to the model that does it best across vendors, and moves to a better or cheaper model when one ships. You are never tied to one company's roadmap, pricing, or outages, and your credits go further on the same client work.
Claude Code runs Claude models only. That is a strong bet for coding, and it means one vendor's roadmap and one vendor's bad days, with no way to route a task to a different model.
Which one is yours
Different jobs. Pick the one that fits your team.
Choose Patricia if
- You run a small marketing agency with several clients on one stack
- You want the whole team AI-native, not just the developers

Choose Claude Code if
- You are a developer who wants a coding agent in the terminal and IDE
- You live in the code and want to run and refactor it fast
- You are happy to add and scope MCP servers yourself
- You have a Claude plan or API billing and want to stay on Claude
- And the best move is often both: add the Patricia MCP to Claude Code

Common questions
Patricia and Claude Code, answered.
How deep do the ad platform integrations actually go?
Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Canva are reached through Patricia's own connector and her own app rather than a broker, so on the ad platforms she pulls a real report instead of a thin list of fields. There she reads, flags and proposes, and by default she makes a change only after a person approves it. Everything else in the catalog is connected the ordinary way, which is honest and still useful.
Is Patricia a replacement for Claude Code?
No. They work best together. Patricia is an MCP server, so you add it to Claude Code with one link and a sign-in. Claude Code then reads your agency context and can hand Patricia real work, while Patricia keeps the 1,000+ connections, the approvals, and the audit log. Your developers keep Claude Code.
Do my non-technical teammates need a Claude plan?
No. Teammates who do not live in a terminal use Patricia in Slack, with every connection, memory, and approval ready from the start, and every seat is included. Claude Code needs a Claude plan or API billing for each developer and lives in the terminal and IDE.
Can I use Patricia inside Claude Code?
Yes. Add the Patricia MCP and Claude Code works with your agency's shared memory, your 1,000+ managed connections, and your approvals, so a developer works with the full agency context rather than a blank session.
How do I onboard my team?
Onboard a technical teammate by creating a Claude Code account and adding the Patricia MCP, and every connection is there with access scoped per person from the first prompt. Everyone else uses Patricia in Slack, no command line. Either way the tools and context are ready on day one.
How does access scoping work?
Patricia connects through managed, permissioned connections with access scoped per person, so a teammate only reaches what they should, every action is logged, and she is SOC 2 Type II compliant, GDPR ready and hosted in the United States. There are no raw keys for your team to store or rotate.
Am I locked into one AI vendor with Patricia?
No. Patricia picks the best model for each task across vendors, including Claude, GPT, and strong open-source models, and moves to whatever is best or most cost-effective as the field changes. Claude Code runs Claude models only.
When is Claude Code the better tool on its own?
When a developer just wants a fast coding agent in the terminal for code, refactors, and technical work, on a Claude plan they already have. It is honest to say Claude Code is excellent for that. Patricia is what brings the rest of the agency along, and the two run well together.
Everybody deserves a Patricia.
