New to Patricia?
One AI coworker, inside your Slack.
Patricia does the marketing, sales, ops, and finance work your team never gets to, in the tools you already use. She remembers your company. Every email, post or message she drafts waits for your yes, and by default so does every change and every spend.
A builder, or a coworker with the jobs built in
You design every Zapier agent. Patricia starts with the agency's recurring work.
Zapier Agents gives you
The parts to build any agent you can describe.
Patricia runs
The recurring client work, in each client's channel.
One coworker the whole team mentions in Slack or Microsoft Teams, with the approval defaults already on and every seat included.
The detail
The differences that decide it.
Setup
Build each agent, or start from the agency jobs.
Patricia arrives with the jobs a small agency repeats every month: the Monthly Client Report, the Ad Anomaly Watch on Google Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads, call recaps and Post-meeting Follow-ups. We set them up with you on a dedicated onboarding, on your own clients. You change a job by telling her in plain words in the channel.
Zapier Agents is a builder: "Create your own superhuman teammates in minutes." You describe what the agent should do, connect the apps it may use, and start from about a dozen templates such as an SEO Blog Writer or Meeting Prep. An agent can only act in the apps you connected, with the actions you set up. Flexible, and the design and upkeep of each agent is yours.
Where it works
In the client channel, or in Zapier's app.
Patricia lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams, and she is on the Microsoft Teams Store. Anyone on the team mentions her in a client's channel and the finished work comes back in the thread: the report draft, the recap, the alert.
You talk to a Zapier agent in Zapier's agents app or its Chrome extension. To bring one into Slack or Teams, Zapier's own templates run the agent from a Zap when a new message arrives in a channel or chat, and the Zap can wait for the agent's answer. The agents page lists Slack templates and does not mention Microsoft Teams.
Approvals
Approvals on by default, or approvals you add.
By default, budget, bid and spend changes and anything client-facing wait for a named yes in the channel. On ad accounts she reads, flags and proposes, and new campaigns start paused. One default to know: the meeting recap email goes to everyone on the invite; you can narrow it to your team or switch it off.
Zapier's help center describes two ways to add approval: write it into the agent's instructions, so it asks for confirmation through a messaging app before it continues, or put a Human in the Loop step after the agent in a Zap, which sends the request by email or Slack. Both work. Both are steps you remember to add to each agent.
Depth where you bill
A catalog entry is not a connector.
Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Canva are not brokered through a middleman: Patricia holds her own app and her own connector for each. On the ad platforms, that is why she can pull a real report instead of a thin list of fields; she reads, flags and proposes, and by default she makes a change only after a person approves it. Those reports are why the weekly client report comes out finished rather than as a pile of fields you still have to assemble.
Zapier connects 9,000+ apps, Google Ads among them, and that breadth is real. The report on top of that data is an agent you write and maintain, rather than a deliverable that arrives finished.
Pricing
Two prices in two different units.
Patricia is $45 a month per workspace, every seat included, with 20,000 credits a month. Credits meter the work and unused credits roll over. On BetterPic's account in October 2026, a monthly client report used 613 credits and a daily ad anomaly check 467. The $100 of free credits come with your dedicated onboarding.
Zapier prices Agents on its own pricing tab, under add-ons. Free gives 400 activities a month. Pro is $33.33 a month billed annually, $400 a year, with 1,500 activities. Enterprise is priced by sales, with agent sharing across the organization and audit logs. An activity is one action the agent takes, a web search or a knowledge lookup, and a Team account shares one pool of activities.
Memory and access
What each one remembers, and who sees it.
Patricia keeps a shared memory of the agency's client work, from the calls she joins, the channels she is in and the tools you connect, and answers with the source. Private chats with her stay with you. Each tool connection is kept personal to the person who made it, or shared with the team. Per-client memory arrives with Client Spaces, coming soon; today, what is per client is the channel.
A Zapier agent looks things up in the knowledge sources you attach to it and acts in the apps you connected. On Enterprise, agents can be shared across the organization, with audit logs.
When Zapier Agents wins
Where Zapier Agents is the better pick.
Patricia fits when the job is the agency's recurring client work, done in Slack or Microsoft Teams with approvals already on, at one price for the whole team. If that is your problem, this is why agencies pick her.
Zapier Agents is the better pick when your agency already runs on Zaps and someone enjoys building, when the workflow touches apps outside Patricia's catalog (Zapier lists 9,000+), when you want to start free tonight without a call, or when the job is not client work at all, such as ranking job candidates or classifying expenses. Both are hosted in the United States and both hold SOC 2, so security is parity.

Common questions
Patricia vs Zapier Agents, answered.
What is the difference between Patricia and Zapier Agents?
Zapier Agents is a builder: you create your own AI agents that act across 9,000+ apps, from Zapier's agents app or Chrome extension. Patricia is an AI coworker for small marketing agencies that lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams with the agency jobs built in: client reports, ad anomaly alerts, call recaps and follow-ups, for $45 a month per workspace.
How much does Zapier Agents cost?
On Zapier's pricing page on 6 November 2026: Agents Free with 400 activities a month, Agents Pro at $33.33 a month billed annually ($400 a year) with 1,500 activities, and Agents Enterprise priced by sales. An activity is an action the agent takes, a web search or a knowledge lookup. Team accounts share one pool of activities.
Does Zapier Agents work in Slack and Microsoft Teams?
Through Zaps. Zapier's own templates run an agent when a new message arrives in a Slack channel or a Microsoft Teams chat, and the Zap can wait for the agent's answer. The agents page lists Slack templates and does not mention Teams. Patricia works in Slack and Microsoft Teams directly: you mention her in a channel.
Does Zapier Agents ask for approval before it acts?
If you set it up. Zapier's help center describes asking for confirmation in the agent's instructions, or adding a Human in the Loop step after the agent in a Zap, with requests by email or Slack. In Patricia, spend changes and anything client-facing wait for a named yes by default; the meeting recap email is the one exception, and you can narrow or switch it off.
Is Patricia cheaper than Zapier Agents?
They meter different units, so compare one real job. Patricia is $45 a month per workspace with 20,000 credits; on BetterPic's account in October 2026 a monthly client report used 613 credits. Zapier Agents Pro is $33.33 a month billed annually for 1,500 activities, and each action, search or lookup an agent takes is one activity. Zapier also has a free plan.
How deep do the ad platform integrations actually go?
Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Canva are reached through Patricia's own connector and her own app rather than a broker, so on the ad platforms she pulls a real report instead of a thin list of fields. There she reads, flags and proposes, and by default she makes a change only after a person approves it. Everything else in the catalog is connected the ordinary way, which is honest and still useful.
Are Patricia and Zapier secure?
Both hold SOC 2: Zapier lists SOC 2 Type 2 and SOC 3, Patricia SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. Both host data in the United States and neither offers EU-only hosting. Zapier says Enterprise customers are opted out of model training on their content and other customers can opt out; Patricia does not train on customer data.
When should I choose Zapier Agents instead?
When your agency already runs on Zaps and someone likes building, when you need apps outside Patricia's catalog, when you want to start free today without a call, or when the work is internal ops rather than client delivery. Many teams keep Zapier for that and give the client work to a coworker.
Everybody deserves a Patricia.
