This guide scores the best AI coworkers for a small marketing, SEO or ad agency, with the criteria first and the prices each vendor publishes.
The best AI coworkers for a small agency are the ones that live in your Slack or Teams, run client jobs without a build project, price the whole team instead of each seat, and ask before anything reaches a client. On those terms the shortlist is Patricia, Viktor and Junior, with Relevance AI, Lindy, Zapier Agents and Dust behind them, and Claude Team as the baseline to beat.
We make Patricia, so read the criteria and the score table before the ranking. Every price below is the one each vendor shows on its own site, checked on 28 October 2026.
Checked in October 2026How we picked the best AI coworkers for agencies
The reader: the owner or ops lead of a small marketing, SEO or ad agency. Each tool gets 0, 1 or 2 points on six criteria.
- Works in Slack or Teams. 2 if both are live, 1 if one is live, 0 if the vendor does not state either.
- Agency jobs ready. 2 if client reports, spend alerts or recaps run without you building them, 1 if templates or roles exist, 0 if you build everything.
- Pricing for a team. 2 for one price for the workspace, 1 for usage pricing with a team pool, 0 for per-seat or quote-only.
- Approvals before client-facing output. 2 if approval is on by default, 1 if the vendor says it can wait for approval, 0 if not stated.
- Ad platform data. 2 for native Google Ads and Meta Ads connectors, 1 for ad platforms through a general connector list, 0 if not stated.
- Security. 2 for SOC 2 Type II, 1 for SOC 2 Type I or an audit in progress, 0 if not stated.
These criteria match what we built Patricia for. That is the bias to weigh. The table shows every score, so you can drop a criterion and re-rank.

| Claude Team (baseline) | 3 | 1: Slack, Teams waitlist | 0 | 0: per seat | 0 | 0 | 2 |
0 means the vendor did not state it on the pages we checked; it may still exist. Ties are ordered by how little you build before the first job runs. Claude Team is the baseline, outside the ranking.
The 10 AI coworkers, ranked for a small agency
1. Patricia
- Who it is for
- Small marketing, SEO and ad agencies that run several clients from one Slack.
- Price
- Founding plan, $45 a month per workspace, every seat included, never per seat. 20,000 credits included every month; credits never expire and roll over, and you pay for extra credits as you use them. You start with $100 of free credits after a card check. Pricing.
- Strengths
- Built-in Automations for the Monthly Client Report, Ad Anomaly Watch on Google, Meta and LinkedIn Ads, meeting recaps and follow-ups, and a Daily Brief. Budget pacing and month-end invoice drafts run as jobs on a schedule you set. Native Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Canva connectors. Drafts wait for a named yes before they reach a client. SOC 2 Type II: Patricia is a BetterGroup product, and the reports sit in the BetterGroup Trust Center.
- Limits
- Teams is in beta. One shared memory for the agency's client work. Client Spaces, with their own memory, integrations and skills per client or department, are coming soon. The meeting recap email goes to everyone on the invite by default; you can narrow it to the team or switch it off. Hosted in the United States (US East) only. Onboarding is a dedicated session with our team; self-serve onboarding, with step-by-step tutorial videos, launches soon.
- Pick it if
- You want the Monday report built in, every seat on one workspace plan, and a dedicated onboarding on your own client work.

2. Viktor
- Who it is for
- Teams that want a general AI employee in Slack or Microsoft Teams. Its site has an agencies page with client reports, audits and spend alerts.
- Price
- Free with up to $100 in credits, no card. Viktor is self-serve; its pricing page says "No credit card, no sales call". Team $100 a month for 40,000 credits shared across the workspace, and you can scale up as usage grows. Unused monthly plan credits roll over for one month.
- Strengths
- Slack and Teams both live. 9,800+ tools, with Google Ads and Meta Ads among its native integrations. Before it sends an email, modifies an ad campaign or charges a card, it waits for approval, and admins choose which action types ask first.
- Limits
- You brief it on each client's report format and review rules before the first job runs. SOC 2 Type 1, with Type II and ISO 27001 in progress per its security page.
- Pick it if
- You run on Teams, or you want one AI employee across 9,800+ tools. Patricia vs Viktor.
3. Junior
- Who it is for
- Companies that want role-based AI employees in Slack or Teams, such as a media buyer or account manager. Its AI Media Buyer page speaks to agency media buyers.
- Price
- Free trial with a $100 credit and one Junior. Standard from $100 a month (a budget you pick, up to $20,000), with up to 5 Juniors.

- Limits
- Its SOC 2 Type II audit is underway, with no report issued yet, and ISO 27001 is in progress. You shape each role yourself.
- Pick it if
- You want a self-serve trial and will set up each role yourself.
4. Relevance AI
- Who it is for
- Enterprise and go-to-market teams building an "AI Workforce" of specialist agents for sales, marketing, support and ops.
- Price

- Strengths
- 2,000+ integrations on its pricing page. Agents can be triggered from Slack, and its docs describe a Microsoft Teams app. Approval modes per tool, from approval required to auto run. SOC 2 Type II, with US, EU or Australian hosting chosen at signup.

- Pick it if
- You have an ops lead to own the agents, or a sales team that wants outbound and research agents.
5. Lindy
- Who it is for
- Teams that want an AI employee in Slack, hired by role: executive assistant, marketing analyst, media buyer, account manager and more.
- Price
- Free: $50 in credits for 7 days. Team from $49.99 a month for 5,000 credits, and every active user is billed; credits pool across the team. Monthly credits do not roll over; top-up credits do.
- Strengths
- Answers in Slack threads. 1,500+ integrations. SOC 2 Type II, with HIPAA on Enterprise. "Anything with outside impact waits for approval." Its media buyer page says it can pause and launch ads and change budgets in Meta and Google Ads, within limits you set.

- Pick it if

- Strengths

- Mention @Dust in Slack and the agent replies in the thread, and its docs describe a Dust app for Microsoft Teams. Connectors to 20+ data sources, or any tool via MCP. SOC 2 Type II, US or EU data residency.
- Limits
- Per seat. Marketing templates target in-house teams; no ad connector named.
- Pick it if

A credit at one vendor is a different unit from a credit at another, so compare what a month of your real jobs costs, never the price per credit.
Where Patricia is the wrong pick
If your agency lives in Microsoft Teams, Viktor and Junior state Teams support, and Patricia's Teams app is in beta. If you want an agent that pauses ads and moves budget on its own, Viktor, Junior and Lindy describe that work; Patricia waits for a named yes on budget, bid and spend changes by default. If you need client data hosted in the EU, Dust and Relevance AI offer it, and Patricia is hosted in the United States.

If none of that is you, the client reporting and Google Ads pages show the jobs she runs.

FAQ
What is the best AI coworker for a small agency?
On our six criteria, Patricia scores highest for a small agency on Slack (we make Patricia). Viktor is the better pick if you need Microsoft Teams live today or want 9,800+ tools. Junior fits if you want role-based AI employees with approval gates on by default.
How much does an AI coworker cost for a 10-person agency?
At list prices on 28 October 2026: Patricia's Founding plan $45 a month per workspace, Viktor Team $100, Junior from $100, Claude Team $250 for 10 seats on monthly billing, Relevance AI Team $349 on monthly billing per its docs, and Lindy $499.90 for 10 active users. Usage above the included credits costs extra.
Which AI coworkers have a free trial?
Patricia: $100 of free credits after a card check, plus a dedicated onboarding to set it up with you. Viktor gives up to $100 in credits, no card. Junior gives a $100 credit. Lindy gives $50 in credits for 7 days. Zapier Agents has a free tier and Dust a free seat with 500 credits. Relevance AI's docs say its Free plan is retired.
Which AI coworkers work in Microsoft Teams?

Can an AI coworker change my clients' ad accounts?
Some can. Viktor lists 80 Google Ads actions and waits for approval before it modifies an ad campaign. Junior's AI Media Buyer pauses underperformers. Lindy says it can pause and launch ads and change budgets in Meta and Google Ads. On ad accounts Patricia reads, flags and proposes. Budget, bid and spend changes wait for a named yes by default, and new campaigns start paused.
Is ChatGPT or Claude enough instead of an AI coworker?
For drafting and research, often yes. A general assistant answers whoever asks. An AI coworker runs recurring jobs for the whole team, and its drafts wait for a named yes before they reach a client. If nobody runs the same report every Monday, start with the assistant.
