The best Lindy alternatives for a small agency depend on what you want instead. For one AI coworker the whole team shares in Slack or Microsoft Teams at one workspace price, look at Patricia or Junior. To build your own agents and workflows, look at Zapier Agents, Gumloop, Make or n8n. A sales or ops team building an agent workforce should look at Relevance AI.

We make Patricia, so weigh that. Every competitor price and feature below comes from that vendor's own site, checked on 3 November 2026.

What Lindy does well, and why agencies look elsewhere

Lindy is a good product. It calls itself "the AI employee that plugs into your tools, learns how you work, and takes real work off your plate." It works in Slack, iMessage, email and the browser, lists 1,500+ integrations, and states SOC 2 Type II on its security page.

Its media buyer page says "Lindy can pause and launch ads and change budgets in Meta and Google Ads," within a daily cap you set. It checks with you before it launches a new campaign or raises spend above that cap.

So why do agencies shop around? Three reasons come up:

  • Per-user billing. Lindy's pricing page says "Every active user in your workspace is billed, from $29.99 a month for 3,000 credits each." Ten active users on the entry tier is $299.90 a month.
  • Monthly credits reset. They "refresh at the start of each billing cycle." Only top-up credits, at $10 per 1,000, stay until you use them.
  • Teams is an integration, not a home. Lindy's home page lists Slack, iMessage, email and the browser as places it works. Microsoft Teams shows up as an integration logo.

If none of that bothers you, Lindy is still a fair pick.

How we picked

The reader is the owner or ops lead of a small marketing, SEO or ad agency. We asked four questions of each tool: where does it run, who builds the jobs, how does the price grow with headcount, and does it ask before it spends ad budget or sends something to a client?

If a vendor's pages did not say something, we wrote "not published". It may still exist.

The 9 Lindy alternatives

Best for small agencies

1. Patricia

Who it is for
Small marketing, SEO and ad agencies that run several clients from one Slack or Teams workspace.
Price
Founding plan, $45 a month per workspace, every seat included, never per seat. 20,000 credits every month; credits never expire and roll over. Extra credits cost $2.25 per 1,000, with up to 25% off in bulk. Pricing.
Strengths
She runs the recurring client work: weekly and monthly client reports, ad spend and anomaly alerts on Google Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads, call recaps, content briefs, ad variants, SEO drafts and follow-ups. She asks before she spends ad budget or sends anything to a client, by default. She keeps a shared memory of the agency's client work. SOC 2 Type II audited.
Limits
Data is hosted in the US only. Fewer integrations than the builder tools on this list. Start is a dedicated onboarding with our team; self-serve onboarding with step-by-step tutorial videos launches soon.
Pick it if
You want the client report and the spend alerts running in your client channels, every seat on one price. Patricia vs Lindy.

An approval card in a demo Slack workspace. Spend and anything sent to a client wait for a yes like this, by default.
Best for role-based AI employees

2. Junior

Who it is for
Teams that want an AI employee per role, such as a media buyer or account manager.
Price
Free trial with a $100 credit and one Junior. Standard from $100 a month, a budget you pick up to $20,000, with up to 5 Juniors.
Strengths
"Approval gates on customer-facing actions are on by default." Joins Slack or Teams and connects to 3,000+ tools, per its home page.
Limits
Its SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress. You shape each role to your agency.
Pick it if
You want a self-serve trial today and will set up the roles yourself.
Best for sales and ops teams

3. Relevance AI

Who it is for
Companies building an "AI Workforce" of specialist agents, with a focus on go-to-market.
Price
The public pricing page shows Enterprise only, through sales. Its docs list Pro at $19 a month billed yearly ($29 monthly) and Team at $234 billed yearly ($349 monthly), and say the Free plan is retired.
Strengths
2,000+ integrations. Its docs describe a Microsoft Teams app where you @mention an agent in a channel or chat.
Limits
You build the agents before the first job runs.
Pick it if
You have someone to own the agents, or a sales team that wants research and outbound agents.
Best if you already use Zapier

4. Zapier Agents

Who it is for
Teams already running Zaps who want agents across 9,000+ apps.
Price
Billed in activities. Free: 400 a month. Pro: 1,500 a month, from about $33.33 a month billed yearly.
Strengths
The widest app catalogue here, plus a Chrome extension.
Limits
You build and maintain each agent. The Agents page does not describe an approval step.
Pick it if
Someone on your team already owns Zapier and likes building.
Best for building agents on a canvas

5. Gumloop

Who it is for
Companies where "anyone at a company can build agents," with IT controlling access.
Price
Pro from $37 a month with 20,000 credits, unlimited seats and an 8% orchestration fee. 14-day free trial.
Strengths
Unlimited seats on Pro. Slack and Microsoft Teams are among its integrations, so agents can read and post there.
Limits
You build each agent. SOC 2: not published on the pages we checked.
Pick it if
You have an operator who wants to build agents and share them with the team.
Best for visual automations

6. Make

Who it is for
Teams that want automations and AI agents "built, run, and debugged directly inside the same Make canvas."
Price
Free plan with 1,000 credits a month. Make's own comparison page says "paid plans starting at $9 for 10,000 credits per month."
Strengths
3,000+ apps. AI agents are "available on all plans," per its agents page.
Limits
You design every scenario, and AI steps can use more than one credit.
Pick it if
You like flowcharts and want the lowest paid entry price on this list.
Best for self-hosting

7. n8n

Who it is for
Technical teams that want to "self-host to keep data in-house."
Price
Cloud Starter 20 euros a month billed yearly for 2,500 executions. A self-hosted Community Edition is on GitHub.
Strengths
600+ native integrations. You can "set the tools an agent can reach and actions that need a human."
Limits
You run the server, or you pay for cloud, and you build everything.
Pick it if
You have a developer and client data must stay on your own servers.
Best for company knowledge

8. Dust

Who it is for
Teams of up to 100 people that build agents on top of company knowledge.
Price
Free seat with 500 credits for life. Pro 24 euros per seat a month billed yearly, with 8,000 credits per seat.
Strengths
Mention @Dust in a Slack channel and the agent replies in a thread. 20+ data connectors. SOC 2 Type II, with US or EU data residency.
Limits
Per seat. No ad platform connector named on its pricing page.
Pick it if
Your main pain is finding answers across Notion, Drive and Slack, or you need EU hosting.
Best for solo founders

9. Sintra

Entrepreneurs; its site says "Trusted by 40,000+ entrepreneurs across 100+ countries."
Price
$48.50 on the 1-month plan, shown as a sale price, or $15.60 a month on the 12-month plan. 12 helpers, 250 monthly credits, 14-day money-back guarantee.
Strengths
Helpers for social media, SEO, copy and email support. Web and mobile apps.
Limits
Slack and Teams are not mentioned on its home page. Built for one owner's tasks.
Pick it if
You are a freelancer or a two-person shop that needs content help.

What does a 10-person agency pay?

Entry list prices on 3 November 2026, before usage above what each plan includes:

ToolPricing model10 people, per month
PatriciaPer workspace, credits included$45
GumloopPlan, unlimited seats, plus 8% feeFrom $37
MakeCreditsFrom $9
n8nExecutionsFrom 20 euros, billed yearly
Zapier AgentsActivitiesFree to about $33.33, billed yearly
JuniorMonthly budgetFrom $100
Dust ProPer seat240 euros, billed yearly
Lindy TeamPer active user$299.90
Relevance AI TeamOrg plan, per its docs$349 monthly or $234 billed yearly

The builder tools look cheap because the hours go into building, so count that time too. On Patricia, 40 client reports a month at about 300 credits each is about 12,000 credits, inside the 20,000 included. A credit at one vendor is a different unit from a credit at another, so compare what a month of your real jobs costs.

Where Patricia is the wrong pick

  • You want a personal assistant on your own inbox and texts. Lindy works over iMessage and email.
  • You want an agent that moves ad budget on its own. Lindy's media buyer pauses ads and moves budget within a daily cap without asking. Patricia asks before she spends ad budget, by default.
  • You want to build your own workflows. Zapier Agents, Make and n8n are built for that.
  • Client data must stay on your servers or in the EU. n8n self-hosts and Dust offers EU residency. Patricia's data is hosted in the US.
  • You want to start alone tonight. Junior, Make and Zapier have a self-serve start today. Patricia starts with a dedicated onboarding; self-serve launches soon.
The Automations page in a demo Patricia workspace, with the Ad budget pacing check for Acme Pro highlighted: every 4 hours, delivered to #acme-pro
A budget pacing job in a demo workspace. It runs every 4 hours and posts to the client channel. Your media buyer makes the call.

If none of that is you, the client reporting and Google Ads pages show the jobs she runs. We also compare Patricia one to one with Lindy, with another Slack AI employee, and with the rest of the field on the comparisons page.

FAQ

What is the best Lindy alternative for a small agency?

For one AI coworker the whole agency shares in Slack or Microsoft Teams, Patricia (we make it) or Junior. To build your own agents and workflows, Zapier Agents, Gumloop, Make or n8n. For a sales or ops team building an agent workforce, Relevance AI.

Is there a cheaper Lindy alternative?

For a team, usually yes. Lindy bills every active user, from $29.99 a month each, so 10 active users cost $299.90 a month on the entry tier. Patricia is $45 a month per workspace with every seat included. Make starts at $9 a month and Gumloop at $37 a month plus an 8% orchestration fee, but you build the workflows yourself. Prices checked 3 November 2026.

Which Lindy alternatives work in Microsoft Teams?

Patricia and Junior work in Slack and Microsoft Teams. Relevance AI's docs describe a Teams app for its agents. Lindy's home page lists Slack, iMessage, email and the browser as places it works.

Is there a free Lindy alternative?

n8n has a self-hosted Community Edition. Make has a free plan with 1,000 credits a month, Zapier Agents a free tier with 400 activities a month, and Dust a free seat with 500 credits. Junior gives a $100 credit trial. Patricia gives $100 of free credits, with a dedicated onboarding.

Can a Lindy alternative watch my clients' ad accounts?

Patricia reads Google Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads, posts spend and anomaly alerts in the client channel, and asks before she spends ad budget, by default. Lindy's media buyer can pause ads and move budget on its own within limits you set. Builder tools such as Zapier Agents, Make and n8n can do it once you build the workflow.
